I decided to go with a different artwork than the two original ones that I was considering, but I still went with a Salvador Dali painting. His other painting would not have met the 25 photo minimum requirement for the project. I went with the painting below that is titled Swans reflecting Elephants, that I thought would work better for this project. It contained 25 possible photo materials to use and would allow me to try new effects to recreate parts of the painting. Such as the clouds and mirroring effect.

Down below are the photos I started out with, they are the main elements of the artwork. 

Down below, I had each item masked out and arranged them in their correct placement like in the painting.

For the two clouds, I liquified them to give the same effect of a swirl motion and to shape them like in the original.

The photo below is what I think is a deformed swan, I have not added it in yet. I do think it will be slightly challenging to recreate it.

I believe that the red parts are small fires which I am planning on adding later.

Finally, down below is my progress so far. I will be starting on changing the lighting and colors to match the original painting and also fixing the swan to make it look more like in the original.
